Nompendulo Thobile Mkhatshwa is a prominent South African leader, public speaker, activist and former Member of Parliament. She rose to national prominence as President of the Wits SRC and as a leading voice in the historic #FeesMustFall movement.
Her leadership journey later took her to the National Assembly, where she served as Chairperson of Parliament’s Portfolio Committee on Higher Education, Science and Technology. She is also the founder of the Yenza Foundation and has served in leadership structures including the Ahmed Kathrada Foundation.
An experienced keynote speaker and panellist, Nompendulo has contributed to high-level platforms focused on education, leadership, innovation, active citizenship and Africa’s development.
